European Law - Your statutory rights
At William Burges Jewellery we want you to be happy with every purchase you make. However, we do anticipate that you may wish to return an item. For this reason we offer a seven (7) day hassle free returns policy.
By law, customers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven (7) working days after the date the item is delivered.
To ensure you comply with your obligations, and ensure you can take advantage of this right to return an item, you must inform us within seven (7) working days starting with the day on which the goods were/are delivered. You must ensure that you take reasonable care of the goods, and you have to bear the cost of returning them. We will refund the money as soon as possible and, subject to the goods being returned to us in perfect condition, at the latest within 30 (thirty) days of receiving written notice of your decision to return the goods.
To return any unwanted or damaged items simply contact William Burges Jewellery and we will be happy to help. It is our preference that we collect the goods from yourselves. That way we become responsible for the care of goods as soon as we have them in our possession. We will endeavour to do this within seven working days of receiving your notice that you do not want the goods.
Please ensure that you quote your delivery note number or customer reference number (from your invoice).
Returning:
We will advise the collection company to collect the items at a time agreed by both you and them within 5-7 days of notification.
Returns notified after 7 days
At our discretion we will consider accepting unwanted items notified to us more than 7 days after receiving your order where there are compelling circumstances.
